Deregulation Explained: Strategies for RMAs and Lawyers (Cat B)

This course offers an in-depth analysis of the practical implications of the Migration Amendment (Regulation of Migration Agents) Act 2019, also known as the “Deregulation Act” (formerly Deregulation Bill). Now that the Deregulation Act has become law and will commence in the coming months, practitioners have crucial decisions to make regarding employment, licensing and much more.
This course focuses on specific strategies for RMAs and lawyers regarding how current practitioner groups will be affected by deregulation, options available to continue practising, ramifications on different types of employment scenarios, and much more.
Open to Australian lawyers, barristers and OMARA RMAs. Approved OMARA CPD Activity Code: WK786 (Cat A Online Workshop).
RMAs will be eligible for 1 Cat B point.
