Description

This course discusses various court options for migration clients and includes topics such as: the difference between judicial and merits review; the courts with original or appellate jurisdiction; the extent to which judicial review can be abolished; the concept of the materiality of errors and jurisdictional errors; time limits for filing of judicial review applications; bridging visas on the basis of judicial review; onus of proof; and other introductory topics.
